Toots & the Maytals Concert

I went to the Toots & the Maytals concert last night at B.B. King theater in midtown. I think they have played at Bates before, but I don't really remember seeing them, so this was my first live experience with the band. They certainly put on a good show, and while the venue was really nice, if you are ever in the mood for ridiculously priced food and drinks then B.B. King theater is for you.

They played their usual jams highlighted by "Monkey Man" and "54-46 Was My Number." I think they are a much better live band since the crowd really gets into it and they are at their best when improvising and interacting with the crowd. Very solid concert.
