Mascot Gets Tackled--Big Ten Style

Compliments to TBone for passing this on. If you're going to tackle a mascot, this is how you do it:



I only link this clip as an excuse to mention I had the opportunity to dress as the Wake Forest mascot, the Deamon Deacon, for a wedding...and turned it down. Perhaps it's something I would have done when I was 24, but now at 25 I am far too mature for such shennanigans.

I turned the offer down for two reasons. The first is that I most certainly would have passed out from heat exhaustion. I think the costumes are like saunas--atleast 130 degrees inside. The second is that since it was a wedding, there would have been booze and intense dancing and those two things don't usually mesh well inside a 3 inch thick wool costume.
