Crocodile Tears

Brett Favre was traded to the NY Jets yesterday for a conditional draft pick. Blah, blah, blah.

I'm so sick and tired of hearing about Brett Favre, so this will be the last post ever on the subject. I mean, what's the big deal? He peaked almost a decade ago and has been shockingly mediocre since. He still has a lively arm, so I guess he can still technically play, but that doesn't necessarily mean he should. You know who else had a cannon for an arm? Jeff George, that's who. And we know how well that turned out.

The guy has won as many Super Bowls as Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson, which isn't a compliment. He throws way to many interceptions and then gets praised for his "gunslinger" attitude by the media, but if it was anyone else they would be called erratic. Complete double standard. So consider this the last time I ever speak of Brett Favre.

Ian, You should have used "too" instead of "to" unless this reflects your attitude of not getting too excited about this trade. Just a thought. LM
