Maybe Milwaukee had the idea for racing people before DC. Instead of Presidents, they use sausages though. Here is a famous clip of a Pittsburgh Pirate, Randall Simon, hitting one of the sausages with a bat as they raced by the visiting dugout. You stay classy Pittsburgh.
